I had a one on one training session with Abby. Her approach was calm, clear and so respectful of me and my dog. She clarified so many behaviours and gave me a really good understanding of how and why to do things. She was able to work so well with my rescue dog who had some difficult behaviours, and gave me the tools to succeed. She was so encouraging and clear with her guidance, not just with my dog but with me. I was so frazzled and nervous coming into the training session but I left feeling so confident in myself and my dog that we’d be able to see positive results together. Abby is a really excellent trainer, I highly recommend her services!

Went to Good Dog Training for Dog Obedience classes on a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed! Dave was a fantastic instructor, patient and always had the time to answer our million and 1 questions. The class was run professionally and we felt very safe there with my wee little dog Amongst some bigger/ older/ reactive dogs. I was hesitant the class would be too basic as our dog is well behaved and knows his basic commands well enough. This was not the case though! They re-wire what you know about foundational training. Classes are good for old, new, big or small dogs. Our dog has been almost transformational since, best money ever spent!

Best place for your fur babies! I did obedience training with my puppy and instead of just teaching you some tricks (like a lot of other places do) Ryan gives you an understanding into your dog’s mind and psychology, helps you to build a great basis for your relationship.

Good Dog Training didn’t just hand us back a “good” dog, my partner and I were absolutely taken back by how much she had improved during her time there. I honestly thought we got back some AI version of her with all her reactive traits removed 😂😂 For reference, she WAS a very reactive young shepherd and we had watched every training video under the sun, trained her daily, paid for not one but two different trainers. After 8 sessions and a lot of money wasted, we were recommended the good dog training team. I was hesitant about the price difference between them and other trainers initially due to her needing a 3-4 week program but if you break it down it’s actually incredible value compared to other trainers since the dog stays on site and now that we’ve seen the results first hand I would pay a lot more without even blinking. Our life has completely changed!!!!! Let me just tell you every dollar was worth it and I would recommend them to absolutely anyone that’s struggling with their dog. Despite a few uncalled for reviews on here, we saw her being trained in the back of videos etc happy as! Yes, they’re firm and professional but that’s why they’re so successful with their training. Kali clearly loved her time there, when we picked her up she was constantly smiling and wagging her tail whenever she saw or engaged with any trainers. I couldn’t walk her alone and my 6ft 3 partner couldn’t even hold her back if she wanted to run over to a dog, she was so reactive to any noise or other animal it was an absolute nightmare….. NOW she’s still our sweet girl in the home AND outdoors, I came back from our first walk in tears, I just couldn’t believe it. This place is absolute magic and they even take you through an exceptionally in-depth handover period so you know exactly how to continue the training and what to look out for. I had about 10,000 questions and they made me feel heard and understood at all times and we’ve come away with so much knowledge and the tools to have a wonderful life with our dog. No more frustration, just understanding between our dog and us. You truly can’t put a price on that. I truly cannot recommend them more! My only regret is not booking her in sooner.

This is going to be a long review because we couldn’t have found a better facility for furry friends, where the staff are top notch. We had Jarmon help us out with obedience & socialization training for our 2 y/o American Bulldog, Kobe, who has trouble with other dogs and overexcitement, and we saw an immediate change in our pups behavior after just 1 session!

We booked the 3 session package which ran over a month or so (Most affordable we saw after weeks of researching/ trial and error!) and Jarmon was a fantastic trainer for us as owners as well as our furry boy. We really recommend him as your trainer if you have a larger dog as he was patient, accommodating and really technical with his approach to ensuring we weed out the bad habits our boy, Kobe, had developed. Where previous trainers said they couldn’t help, Jarmon proved them wrong!

We had lost hope with previous trainers but Jarmon and the staff at Good Dog Training really gave us a new outlook and provided Kobe with a newfound freedom that we didn’t think was within reach!

Below I’ve added photos of our boy, Kobe, using Jarmon’s new training and lying on his belly when being told his command- (this wasn’t possible a mere month ago- imagine a 60kg American Bulldog constantly jumping on you when you’re trying to cook!)

10’s across the board and would rate Jarmon and this organization 10 stars instead of 5 if I could 🙂 !

Lovely and very helpful team. I enquired about their services as I’m planning to get a dog. One of their trainers, Steven made time to have a 30min chat over the phone. He answered all my questions and shared some very helpful advice for first time dog owners. The team that responded to my initial email were also very friendly and helpful to suggest the call with Steven. Overall a very pleasant experience and I’ll be going back to them for their trainings later on.

Its so hard to decide on a dog trainer to goto with all the options around. I had looked at multiple companies and was getting frustrated. I decided to go here after being referred by a family friend. They were friendly and excellent in email response and then easy to book with. Well priced aswell for an initial consult. We didn’t know what to expect really but Ryan was very helpful, pointed out little things to us we never noticed, answered all our questions, talked us through different options and training tips which have made us much more equipped i believe. Our big dog Thor has calmed down alot after 1 training, i can actually take him out walking without pulling my arm off, hes stopped barking on the back of the truck. I’m not saying hes 100% cured/trained but i would more than likely go back if things get worse. Wish we had done this sooner and i recommend everyone to give these guys a try if you are having some problems with your dog.

We were lucky to have Good Dog Training train our beautiful girl Laila under their Board and Train Program. Laila had fear aggression with people, particularly in the home, as well as possession aggression over those she is closest to in the family. It was a matter of when will she bite someone, not if. Laila is a bull-mastiff staffy and very strong willed, stubborn and protective of her home and family. We really were at our wits end after trying (and paying for) many forms of training over the last year, all to no real effect
